Memorial in Mammoth

The 5.5hr drive was SO worth it! Kind of a bizarre twist on a weekend that is normally spent BBQ hopping- we went snowboarding. The mountain was pretty huge and I bet midseason it would be amazing. Our party of 10 included some Venetians and other good friends. I really thought the snow would suck and I'd spend the day sipping Bloody Mary's, but we rode the whole day Sunday and half the day on Monday. My legs were jello by the end of the trip. I still feel totally spent! Last official weekend of snowboarding for this season and who could have predicted how addicted I would be?! Is it December again yet?
