A Sinktastic Tale

Sunday hours last the longest...

Today was almost perfect... Even after ringing Doyle into her 26th year pretty late into Sat. night, Bec and I got up and made it to the 11am service at Glide and it was as sensational as ever. She had never been before and the singing was out of this world. After that, we met up with Liz and Zak at Dottie's true blue. And after that I went gift shopping for the fam. I got some cool things and I even picked up something for myself (which I know seems out of line and just plain ludicrous) But I have been drooling over this chunky turqoise necklace basically since I moved to California and today... I pulled the trigger and she came home with me- woooohooo. Considering having the thing fused to my neck so I can't lose it. I mean seriously- could the fav hours of noon to four on Sunday have been used any better?! I think not.

Oh yeah, I saw the Chronicles of Narnia tonight... I'd give it a thumbs up calling it visually super and pretty creative. But ever since New Orleans and crazy cajun Ernie, Narnia is too close to nutria. I just keep thinking of the Bubba Gumpesque description of everything that Ernie could do with one of those weird beaver meets a prairie dog looking creatures or the $4 a hide he'd get for turning them in.
