Pic'd a Loser

Damn. Double damn. I got lost at Kirkwood today from my group of fellow boarders. Mainly because I suck in comparison to their backwoods antics. I got side tracked as I do and ended up watching a group of sparrows in a tree flit between branches and my bindings. I decide to take a pic of them on my very rugged board, you know capture the irony. Anyways, as I whip out the ol' Sony I notice my pal off in the distance and like an idiot start running at him draggin my belongings. In the process I lost my camera :( But you know what- I say better to have lost the camera than the car keys. Gotta take the glass half full approach in these situations. Now I might get the Canon Powershot SD430 as a replacement, it is clearly necessary to be about to have WiFi on your camera ;)

On a brighter note, Jeannie and I made this ridiculously ornate and decadent cupcakes for N8. I seriously did not think we'd pull it off- but the crowd loved 'em. Peanut Butter. Chocolate. Magical. Hats off to Chockylit for the recipe.
