Varied Floral Consciousness

So I just wrapped up Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. That is one of the better books I have read lately; I felt drunk off his descriptions. Absolutely awesome. On his scale of floral consciousness, I'd say I have far to go since I dream in technicolor. Seriously, having a coffee with Tom Robbins must equate living through some freak drug trip of the 60s. Wild. But I'm hooked, I've got Skinny Legs and All to read next. I'm already sold since within the first nine pages of the book someone is rolling a Buick Regal. He had me at Bui.... speaking of, my car is screwed. She's squeaking like an old swingset.

Oktober Runnin'

Small times props to me- When I moved here 3yrs. ago I was all 'I should run this 10K' with two other girls. Of course we slacked off and didn't run it, but today of all days I finally went ahead and on a spur of a moment type theme- I ran that race. I can hardly believe that since that conversation 3yrs. ago I have ran a marathon and numerous half marathons. Wow. 3 years ago 6 miles seemed an eternity. Anyhoo- wow, glad I got there and purchased a pumpkin roll, it was Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelish!
